Stopped by car parts store and got a new gasket with plans to install it on my lunch break. On lunch I zip off the two bolts pull of old crumbling gasket and sla p the new one on only to have it be about 3 sizes too big. Then it’s an open header blast back to the store to get the right part but then the exhaust is too hot to handle. Guess I’ll be laying in the parking lot after work for a minute.

If you need a header gasket for a big block C hevy with massive exhaust ports you can have the one that Jegs sent me instead of the intake manifold gasket that I ordered.

Lying down in the parking lot - you must be exhausted.
Your doughnut was too big, and now it’s too hot?
E xhaust? It’s a gas!
Don’t fume over this one too much.
Does the flange meet with your seal of approval?
You’d pay someone to fix it, but things are tight...
Just don’t blow a gasket.
/etc. etc. jokes hurr durr
